Can your computer keyboard talk?

I recently had a discussion with Brad Hodges, from the American Foundation for the Blind Tech Center, about low cost or free solutions for new computer users.  During the conversation, a question came up about a tool which would enable a new user of a computer to make the keyboard talk.

While searching the internet and reading the many emails I receive each day as the “ILATechie,” I came across a software package known as the “Talking Keyboard.”

This free software enables someone to download and install the package and enable all the keys of the main keyboard to be spoken, in addition to several other useful keys.

The free software package I found which would make your keyboard speak is from:

“Talking Keyboard - Computer games and multimedia products.”

You can visit them at:

The site provides a wide array of games and different tools, but certainly the most useful for anyone is the “Talking Keys”

Software.

If you would like to try out the free trial, or know of someone who would benefit from its use, please visit:
